Established in 1880 by Munawar Shah, a great angler of the yesteryears, our family business stands as the oldest fish angling equipment outlet at Lal Chowk, Srinagar. With a history spanning more than 145 years, we have hooked customers from Kashmir to the United Kingdom.
The chain of fishing tackle shops along the Bund has witnessed generations of anglers discovering the thrill of trout fishing in the pristine waters of Kashmir. Our founder's passion for angling was legendary—he was renowned for catching big fishes, a record that remains a proud chapter in our family history.
Today, the business legacy of Munawar Shah is being carried forward by four sons, each maintaining separate shops under the century-old unique brand name that has become synonymous with quality fishing equipment in the region.
